Job Statement:
The Online Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail operation of a store. Management of the web store includes inventory management, supervision of purchasing and receiving of goods, appropriate pricing and packaging, and direct communication with all vendors and the store-licensing partner. The role will also include working directly with our internal creative team on new product development and advertising campaigns, the creation of budgets and sale promotions in line with marketing strategies and the analysis of sales goals.
Essential Functions:
- Outstanding communication skills with professional presentation via phone, email or client meetings.
- Complete inventory management in relation to maintaining stock levels and ensuring sell through.
- Translate business initiatives into online sales campaigns that communicate the brands, message, and products.
- Analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to maximize inventory sell through and profit margin.
- Development and implementation of weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales campaigns.
- Utilize internal sales tools to track all pertinent inventory details and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly quota goals.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and potential products.
- Contribute to the development and creation of new store banded products with a strong focus on meeting the organization’s and licensing partner’s goals and objectives.
- Identifying and developing relations with new vendors along with negotiating pricing and account terms.
- Contribute to the development and ration of all online advertisements and store banners.
- Work directly with the web and internal systems data entry team on new and existing product setup and maintenance.
- Weekly, monthly, and seasonally merchandising product selection and placement for maximum presentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, finance, accounting, communications, marketing or relevant discipline a plus.
- Solid understanding of all aspects of retail operations.
- Minimum of 3 years retail management with strong emphasis on inventory management. Online retail and Google Analytics experience a plus.
- 100% sedentary desk time on computer and phone.
- Some travel may be required.
